Vance Wildlife Taxidermy is committed to ethical and legal business practices.  All licenses, tags, and identification must be presented at the time of check-in.  A 40% minimum deposit is required prior to commencement of work.  Additional fees for rocks, special forms, alterations, habitats, display units, and panels may apply.

All major credit cards are gladly accepted!  No Fees!

Big Game

  • Deer (Shoulder Mount) $450

    Standard shoulder mount for Whitetail Deer, Pronghorn Antelope, Mule Deer, etc.Deer feet on panel is extra, please see Miscellaneous section for add-on pricing..

  • Bear (Shoulder Mount) $450

    Standard shoulder mount for black bear, closed mouth.

  • Other Big Game Contact for quote

    Turkey, Custom Big Game, etc.

Fish

  • Freshwater $100 + $15.50 per inch

    Large and Smallmouth Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, etc. Choice of basic driftwood or panel is included in price.

  • Trout $100 + $17.50 per inch

    Rainbow, Brown, Palomino Trout, etc. Choice of basic driftwood or panel is included in price.

  • Striped and Hybrid Striped Bass $22 per inch

    Choice of basic driftwood or panel is included in price.

  • Reproduction (Any species) $24 per inch

    Fish reproduction. Choice of basic driftwood or panel is included in price. Must have a length and girth measurement. It is recommended to have a good, clear side picture of fish, as well.

  • Repaint Starting at $75

    Price is for most fish repaints. Some fish, due to their size and/or paint complexity, may be additional cost.

    Custom display options are available upon request.

Small & Medium Game

  • Coyote, Bobcat, Fox (Shoulder / Pedestal Mount) $385

    Standard or pedestal shoulder mount. Includes panel/base.

  • Squirrel $275

    Grey, Fox, etc. mount. Bark or small base included.

Miscellaneous

  • Antler / Horn Mount $100

    Standard antlers or horns on a plaque. *Customer choice of Oak or Walnut plaque, black or brown skull cap, decorative nails, golden rope. Other options are available.

  • Deer feet on single panel $135

    Two deer feet on a single panel.

  • Deer mount with two feet (add-on) $160

    Add-on to deer mount. Includes customer choice of Oak or Walnut panel. Plycore panels are also available for slightly less cost.

  • Big Game Panel (add-on) $85

    Add an Oak or Walnut panel to any big game shoulder mount (deer, antelope, etc.). Additional cost may apply for oversized panels.Plycore panels are also available for slightly less cost.

  • Engraved Trophy Plates $24

    Engraved Trophy Plates are available in Black Aluminum, Solid Brass, or Brass Plated. Sizes range from 1x3 to 5x8.

Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources Taxidermy permit and Virginia State Corporation Commission registration are located onsite and available upon request.
