What is the expected completion time of work?
Completion time may vary depending on the type of service. Unless otherwise stated, customers can expect a 1 year turnaround time on most fish and big game shoulder mounts.
Vance Wildlife Taxidermy does limit intake, in an effort to deliver on 1 year or less promised goals.
Do you tan your deer capes?
Yes, all deer capes are in-house wet tanned, including all big game and small to medium game hides.
Do you offer fish repaints?
Absolutely! If you have a fish you want repainted, I will be more than happy to do it.
Do you ship mounted products?
I try to avoid shipping mounted products whenever possible. Depending on the specimen, size of shipping container, shipping and/or freight can be very costly. Please be advised that initial shipping estimates may be lower than actual costs, due to unforeseen carrier audits, etc. It is possible that shipping will exceed the price of a mounted specimen.
